Anyone who has attended a Polished Cement FX course on the Beton Ciré finishes is invited to come along to Howie & Belle in NW London to watch, or help us apply Beton Ciré to the shop floor area.

It promises to be an interesting job, as the client is very particular in the finish she requires.

The floor has been preped with a diamond grinder, but is old and dusty and will need a good 2 or 3 coats of Nivo-grip.

Well done to the Robs!

I shall use the first post on the new Polished Cement FX Blog to say a big ''Well done'' to Rob Groom and Rob Palmsy for the stunning shower and steam room they have recently completed in West London.

Rob and Rob both attended Polished Cement training courses over the last 6 months, and showed great promise. Both of them have been working with polished / venetian plaster, so were no strangers to a trowel.

The job was a tricky one, with the client not sure what they wanted, but samples were done, and a Sienna Naturelle (Moderne Methode pigment) chosen.

Shower rooms and bathrooms are tricky and fiddly, so best not just to rely on a meterage price as they take so much longer than a flat wall.

Amazing job lads, can't wait to see the next one!
